Ryman Composites have developed speaker cone moulds and parts to specification for a nightclub installation. This involved the production of a high accuracy speaker extension cone pattern on a lathe, manufacture of a low distortion surface in very high gloss finish to produce decorative black gelcoat parts.

Ryman Composites supply 14 specially designed and calibrated speaker extension cones for a new venue in Melbourne CBD. Designed by an Acoustic Engineer, Ryman Composites provided a lathe spun pattern, created a mould with removable flange and very high gloss surface for manufacture. The mould must be as close as possible to Automotive A1 finish as the parts are to be manufactured in High Gloss black gelcoat. The result is an amazing installation and a surface that really shines, a stunning delivery of the designers intent.
